1. Personal IT Lab for Security & Network Management

• Description: I created a fully functional home IT lab to test network management, server virtualization, and security tools. This setup allows me to experiment with various technologies and configurations, simulating real-world scenarios.
• Key Technologies Used: Proxmox (for server virtualization), OpenWRT (network management), WireGuard and OpenVPN (VPN setup), SSH, SFTP (remote data access), FreedomBox (for testing), Firewall management (iptables, firewalld, ufw), Apache (web server), wordpress (CMS).
• Outcome: Designed an environment that is secure, scalable, and remotely accessible, allowing for continuous development and testing of network management and cybersecurity strategies. I also provide personalized web pages hosted on my web server for close relatives and friends.

2. Network Management Intern at Vuwall Technologies

• Description: Assisted with the redesign and upgrade of network infrastructure for Vuwall Technologies. This included the installation and configuration of routers, switches, and servers, as well as the reorganisation of network wiring which was quite a lot!
• Key Technologies Used: Routers, Switches, Servers, Networking Protocols, Network Security.
• Outcome: Contributed to optimising network performance and resolving connectivity issues, helping the company upgrade its infrastructure to support future growth.

3. Computer Support at Villarrica General Hospital

• Description: Provided support for both hardware and software for hospital staff, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer systems. I also assisted in maintaining the hospital’s network and ensuring proper operation of printers and other peripherals.
• Key Technologies Used: Windows OS, Networking, Printer Management.
• Outcome: Improved hospital operations by ensuring that staff had reliable access to the software and hardware they needed to perform their roles efficiently.

4. Herd Manager at Purata Farms

Although not related with the IT industry, It was such a good experience and almost became a life career for me and worthy to be part of my portfolio. Everything I learned during those years helped me develop skills that will be part of me for the rest of my life.

• Description: Managed farm operations, including the maintenance of milking facilities and equipment, pasture management, and herd health monitoring. Led a team to ensure safe and efficient farming operations.
• Key Technologies Used: Farm management tools (manual and digital), Equipment Operation (Tractors, ATVs), Health Monitoring Systems.
• Outcome: Maximized milk production and improved the efficiency of the farm, ensuring optimal care for the herd and smooth day-to-day operations.
